Welcome to Spa & Hair 1877

Here at Spa & Hair 1877 our aim is to provide all our guests with a relaxing retreat from the stresses and strains of everyday life.

Set in the vibrant Devonshire Quarter of Sheffield city centre, Spa & Hair 1877 is housed in the original Glossop Road Baths. Elegantly combining Victorian architecture with modern technology, Spa & Hair 1877 offers a beautiful setting in which you can experience the latest hair and beauty treatments. The Victorian Turkish Baths is the focal point of Spa 1877; our Spa Experience sessions are the perfect way to relax and steam away your stress. All our guests can enjoy complimentary drinks and put their feet up in our Relaxation area before and after treatments, or when using the Spa Experience.

At Spa 1877 we offer an extensive range of treatments, including holistic therapies, body treatments and maternity treatments as well as facials, nails, and waxing. There’s even a selection of spa therapies especially for men, for all you well-groomed gents out there!

Situated directly beneath the Spa, is Hair 1877, our stylish salon. Offering everything you could expect from a city-centre salon and more, we aim to make your visit to Hair 1877 as enjoyable and relaxing as a visit to the Spa. You can sit back and sip a complimentary cocktail whilst having a cut, or check your e-mail while your colour develops – much better than an out-of-date magazine and cup of tea we hope you’ll agree!

Whether popping in for a fringe trim or spending the whole day with us we want your 1877 experience to be pleasurable from start to finish. Our dedicated team of Receptionists, Spa Assistants, Therapists and Stylists will take care of you from the moment you enter the building to the moment you leave, ensuring your comfort throughout.
