A week on and we’re still buzzing from our visit from Leighton Denny. As a leading figure in the beauty industry, we couldn’t wait to unleash his expertise on our clients and he did not disappoint.
To celebrate the gorgeous “Welcome to the Funfair” Collection we’d gone all out to decorate Essential Beauty with balloons, bunting and even a popcorn machine. Decorated to the nines and with Leighton in the building we were ready to welcome guests to this sell-out event with a glass of Ginger Beer, Lemonade and Prosecco with a traditional popcorn cone to provide a tasty treat.
Having worked with the Leighton Denny Expert Nails Brand for a number of years I was incredibly excited to meet Leighton, and hear him speak. It was great to hear the account first hand of how he has worked tirelessly to become the UK’s number one nail expert, entrepreneur and internationally recognised figure in the beauty industry. He spoke with refreshing honesty and what struck me was the courage that Leighton had shown, right from the beginning in his cruise ship days, to paving the way for male therapists before taking the gamble to sell his dream business in Bradford to head down to London to pursue his dream.
Guests queued the length of Essential Beauty for a chance to meet Leighton personally and the unique opportunity for a one-on-one advice from the man himself (and the odd selfie too!)
Each guest selected their favourite Welcome to the Funfair Colour(s) for an ‘On the Move’ Manicure, with the most popular on the night being ‘Kiss Me Quick’. No surprise that this colour is selling out fast across the UK!
We’ve been delighted to receive fabulous feedback on our facebook page and we love all the photos of the colours from the night on our twitter feed which is also being eagerly watched by Leighton Denny. Including Lauren who has been putting her manicure to the test heading on a three-day archaeological dig with her ‘Scream to go Faster’ Nails.
